Soy cirujano ortopedista subespecialista en cirugía de hombro y codo, formado en instituciones de alto nivel en Estados Unidos. Actualmente soy el jefe del Departamento de Ortopedia y Traumatología de la Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá, donde combino la atención clínica con la docencia y la investigación.

Cuento con amplia experiencia en el diagnóstico y tratamiento de todas las patologías del hombro, desde lesiones deportivas y desgarros del manguito rotador, hasta luxaciones, artrosis, fracturas complejas y cirugía protésica. Utilizo técnicas quirúrgicas avanzadas, tanto abiertas como artroscópicas, según las necesidades de cada paciente.

Además, tengo un interés y formación especial en cirugía de codo, una subespecialidad poco común en ortopedia. He acumulado una experiencia sólida en el manejo de fracturas, inestabilidad, artrosis, rigidez, lesiones tendinosas, compresiones nerviosas y reemplazos articulares del codo, ofreciendo soluciones que requieren criterio, precisión y entrenamiento específico.

Mi enfoque se basa en la escucha activa, el diagnóstico preciso y la toma de decisiones informadas por la mejor evidencia científica disponible, siempre buscando recuperar la funcionalidad y mejorar la calidad de vida de mis pacientes.
